Los Balcones has its own facilities close by at the Filton centre with amenities such as shops, chemists, supermarkets, opticians etc. The local restaurants provide a large selection of different cuisine to suit different tastes.

There is a park which has a football and basketball pitch and a dog park with agility equipment.

A primary school is close by in Los Altos and there is a school bus from los balcones, and a secondary school is being built shortly by the primary school.
