Mutxamel is a town in Alicante. It also known as Muchamiel and it covers geographical area of 47.67 sq. km. It lies in the northern part i.e. 9 kilometres away from the metropolis of Alicante.The cities of Campelo, Raspeig and San Vicente del surround the town of Mutxamel.

Close by is El Campello, where you will find numerous supermarkets and one of the beaches mentioned previously.

Mutxamel is located close to areas of natural beauty complete with historic sites, such as the Mutxamel and Sant Joan waterwheels near the river Seco. There are also some lovely recreational areas such as La Sabateta and El Calvario as well as areas populated by endemic plant life, such as El Bec de l’Àguila.
